Stila - Convertible Colour

Stila - Convertible Colors from - Beauty Bay - £16 (each)

I am the type of person who has dry skin but with my skin routine i keep in under wrap and it always looks dewy and fresh. But i don't like putting powders on my skin as i like that dewy fresh glowing finish to my skin and powders tend to make my skin look very dry. I have never used Stila products before so i thought i would treat myself to these two lip & cheek creams. (review on the Stila water proof eyebrow pen to come)

Camellia - Peony

Camellia - Peony

Top - Peony
Bottom - Camellia

Products: I found these both very pigmented so you only need a really small amount on your cheeks. The Texture is really soft and very workable so you can really blend it into your skin to make it look natural. It gives a lovely dewy glow finish to it but not glittery like some dewy products you find. There is no scent to them so they perfect for sensitive skin (i have and not had a problem using these)
I have used them on my lips i know a few people aren't that keen on using them on there lips but i found it to be fine it can go a bit dry so a good idea to use with a lip balm.

Colour: Peony - Peachy colour ( great for redder toned skin!) Camellia - golden tan colour

Packaging: The packaging for these are beautiful they come in this lovely metallic plastic with engravings on the from, they also have a handly little mirror inside.

This has honestly got to be one of my favorite make-up buys it is exactly what it said it would be and it is exactly what i wanted and hoped for it to be. I have brought and used many cream blushers but never been satisfied with any of them. But these two are just brilliant i couldn't rave about them enough!

O.P.I

Hi little bunnies, I have a really large collection of O.P.I nail polish & products and i was wondering if anyone would be interested in me posting about them and colour swatches etc... Would really appreciate any feedback from you guys thanks,

LUSH!

One of my New Year resolutions was that i was going to make sure that once a week i had 30 minutes of ME time. A time where i could just relax in the bath with something yummy and a face mask a nice candle lit and just sit and do nothing for half an hour. So i decided i was going to go to LUSH and buy a few bits to start me of.

Bath Bomb - Twilight - £3.25 - LUSH
I got drawn in by of course the colour & the stars and moon on it.
I wanted something i could use before bed to relax me and just make me feel very calm this is a Lavender & Ovaltine fragrance.

Bath Bomb - Big Blue - £3.25 - LUSH
This one was yet another one that smelt like something i could relax to. It has that Spa smell to it so it just instantly makes me feel relaxed again this has Lavender in it Citrus and also some seaweed.

Bubble Bar - French Kiss - £4.25 - LUSH
There seems to be a bit of a theme to the scents i have picked so far you guessed it another lavender based one for me lavender just makes me feel so relaxed and although it is in many of the bits i got from lush it tends to be a background note but not with this one it is a very pure Lavender smell.

Bubble Bar - Karma - £3.25 - LUSH
This one i picked for them days where you need a little pick me up! When i am feeling a bit rubbish and need a little boost this is the one for me super zesty Orange & Patchouli smell a great one for use in the morning to wake you up.

Bubble Bar - Green Bubbleroon - £3.50 - LUSH
This is perfect when all we have had is rain and all i want is to remember what it was like to sit outside with family & friends having a BBQ and a few drinks with the summer sun. This has that lovely refreshing smell of a meadow. This one doesn't make as many bubbles as the usual bubble bar but it does a little something more. It moisturizes your body really well with the centre that sticks them together is made up with coconut oil & Shea butter

Bubble Bar - The Comforter - £4.50 - LUSH
& Last but by no means least is this fruity bubble gum like scent is just like a big cuddle in the bath with big bubbles and a snuggle feel to it.

Thanks for reading please feel free to leave me a comment about your fav products from lush!

Liar - Medium metallic mauve shimmer
Factory - Pinky-brown satin
Mugshot - Metallic taupe shimmer with slight pink shift
Darkside - Deep taupe-mauve satin
Blackheart - Smoky black matte with rosy red micro-sparkle

I brought this as soon as it came out, i always wear eyeshadow i am a neutrals girl and never will be seen wearing "colour".
I was never a huge fan on the naked 1 palette just because i wouldn't use all of the colours in it, i loved 2 and i am now in love with 3!
All the shadows produce good colour pay off, i like the way you get a mix of different finishes and all the colours are so easy to blend.
This also comes with a brush usually when you get a brush in a kit it isn't really that great and i always think to myself they are a bit pointless, but i found this brush is one of my favorites to blend with along side my MAC 217. Perfect for anyone who loves there neutrals, day wear, night wear and "natural" make up you can get a really simple look with this and go to the other end and get a smokey heavier look.

This palette comes in at £37.00 - Look Fantastic - Definitely worth a look for all you "nude" girls out there im sure you will love it!

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Intensive Lip Repair Balm

I bought this at the beginning of January, i have heard so many good things about her Eight hour cream that i thought this would be a good lip balm to try.

I have very dry lips that crack and split really easily i find i have to use a strong balm on them every day and every night but usually this only keeps them moist up until lunchtime when i am wearing lipstick.
The strong balm that i use isn't really one that can be worn in the day as it is quite a thick white paste so i usually end up then putting some lip gloss on to help cover the dryness up.

BUT... since using this lip balm by Elizabeth Arden my lips have stayed hydrated until around 6 at night. I apply it at night before bed and also first thing in the morning before my make up.
There is no colour in this balm and its not to greasy, thick, sticky or white. I find this makes your lips really smooth and soft also for me makes them feel like they are more plump.
It doesn't have a stinging sensation when you apply it although i thought it would as it does have a mint like smell.

It comes in at £20 - John Lewis - It is on the higher side for a lip balm considering i was paying £7 for the one i was using but when you take into consideration all of the positive things about this lip balm and how it has worked for me i would say it was worth its money.

Origins - GinZing Eye Cream

I brought the Origins GinZing eye cream about a 3 weeks ago as i had noticed my eyes had started to get dark circles under my eyes and some small what i would call "bobbling" i am sure some girls will be able to relate to what i mean.

I wanted something to help refresh my eyes and help reduce the dark circles and i thought that this product would be just what i was looking for.

The cream looks very thick and feels it to the touch but once applied it sinks in very quickly and it glides onto your skin like silk! You need a very small amount of this cream and it goes a long way.

I can defiantly say that after using this cream for 3 weeks i can see a difference already with my eyes, the horrible dark tiered look is slowly going and after applying this cream it really does give a brightening effect. My skin in general is very sensitive to products and so are my eyes but this hasn't effected them in the slightest.

This eye cream comes in at £23.00 - from Origins website and i personal this it is worth every penny. Having a little shop around for eye creams even some of the lower end brands came in at £12 i have used a few of these and didn't find i found any result. So when it comes to skin care i do feel that paying that little bit extra sometimes is worth it.
